Just came out of quiet time with God.
The thick presence of God is a totally different world from that we are in most of the time. =)

Of cos’ I have my days of lousy quiet time.
Just yesterday, at the end of quiet time, I wrote in my spiritual diary “bad quiet time, can’t focus”.
But yeah, there are the really good ones, like this one.

After watching Little Nonya with yuangchin and gibson who came to my place,
I retreated into seeking the presence of God.

Initially, my mind kept seeing the scenes in this last episode of Little Nonya,
Feeling touched and intrigued by many of the scenes.
The female lead character possessed such a steadfast spirit.
No matter what happened, she chose to become better, never bitter.
Never weakened, but stronger.
She understood that true love is not about taking,
But love is about giving.
And through her life, she gave, and she gave. =)

Right there in the midst of these thoughts while trying to focus in seeking God,
God reminded me of the common grace of this show.

Loving and giving.

Loving and giving,
Jesus’ style.
The pain he endured on the cross.
Hammered, hammered, hammered.

I felt I was great in taking Nicholas to and fro church.
Being reminded of the sacrifices of Jesus,
I was humbled.
What’s the big deal Estelle,
Nothing compared to Jesus!

And there, in the presence of God…
Tears…
And a resolution to want to love God more and to love people more.

Strumming the guitar,
God gave me a simple tune…
Have not received such in a while…
Wonderful, beautiful tune…. =>
Right now, as I type,
I’m still humming this tune….

Beautiful, wonderful presence of God……. =D
