we are a family, a spiritual family.
brothers and sisters.

we have a home.
but this home is not a physical place.
our home is wherever we are gathered together.

homes sometimes have guests.
and as hosts, we
smile,
shake hands,
exchange names,
try to strike up a conversation with our guests.

all in an attempt to make our guests feel welcome.
they are, guests afterall.
it's important to be good, welcoming hosts.

yes, we are sometimes shy,
but a smile,
and a handshake,
sometimes are enough to make all the difference.

and when everyone is friendly, welcoming and sincere, guests feel they belong and want to come back again and again.
