I love the presence of God.
It’s where the love of God is experienced.

Typically, like yieling, I enter into the presence of God with praying in tongues to connect to the spiritual realm.

For today, the love of God enveloped me.
My heart feels broken and soft, being filled with the gentle, comforting love of God.

About to step into the 24th year of my life,
With new roles to take on,
I kinda think the past 23 years were in preparation for these brand new roles in 2009.
God said that the love of God will see me through this year.

“Love is patient and love is kind;

Is not puffed up;
Does not behave rudely,
Does not seek its own,
Is not provoked,
Thinks no evil;
Does not rejoice in iniquity,

The presence of God is where important decisions are made.

My 2 goals for 2009
1. W497 multiply in November 2009
Because it means people coming to know God and people loving God
My life used to be so dark, until I found this God I now know.
So I want other people to experience this love and hope from this God. =D

2. I want to be Great Teacher Estelle
Be the best teacher that I can be for my students. =D

Really, a year flew by.

I so vividly remember Zone Thanksgiving 2007, at Riverwalk,
And then some of us went to BK to eat.

A very fast year of teachers’ training,
Got a taste of hostel-life.
Left usher ministry (where I grow in in the past 4 years) in may.
W260 multiplied.

I stand at a point in life,
Realizing once again how fast days, weeks, months and years can be.

Every moment counts,
Every day counts,
Every week counts,
Every month counts,
Every year counts.

Like how Kelvin felt at the brink of turning 20.

I want to make my 2009 count.
I’m not giving my 100%,
I’m giving my 200%.

hey guys heres some lame jokes I juz read hahas hope to brighten up ur dae:)

One day Joe went out to Orchard Road wearing his favourite pair of sneakers. He saw this girl pass by him as he was boarding the MRT and was smitten immediately - love at first sight. He went back to tell his friends and they were all curious to know about the girl.

"Is she very cute, like Yang Chen Ling?"

"Nope."

"Is she very sexy, like Jessica Alba?"

"Nope."

"But you don't even know her yet! If she's not cute or sexy, what made you so attracted to her?", his friends were all dumbfounded.

"Well, she was wearing the exact same pair of sneakers that I was wearing that day..." , Joe said.

"WHAT???!!!", his friends exclaimed.

"Yeah...the moment I saw her I knew we were sole mates..."

An ant knocks the door of a HDB flat. House owner opens the door. "I want a place to stay", said the ant . "I have a vacant room which you can occupy for free of cost", said the owner. Ant went inside and occupied that vacant room. After some days, the ant brought in another ant and requested the owner "Can you please allow this ant to stay along with me". "Oh sure, you can do so without paying any rent" said the owner. After some days the ant brought one more ant and requested the owner to allow that ant to stay with it. Owner agreed to it without asking for any rent. This continued i.e ant brings in one more ant and owner agrees for it. On one fine day, the ant brought in tenth ant and requested the owner to allow that tenth ant also to stay with it. The owner said "Ok, you all can stay here but you need to pay rent". Now the question is Why did the owner ask for rent when the tenth ant came in?

Ans: Because they are now Tenants (Ten ants)

Once upon a time, there lived a green man in a green house which was in a green district. One day while he was bathing, a female friend of his came round to visit and rang the doorbell. Upon hearing his doorbell, the green man hastily wrapped a towel round himself and went to open the door. At that moment, he accidentally dropped his towel and his friend screamed in shock. Still screaming, she ran off and got knocked down when she dashed across a road. She died, the end.

What is the moral of the story?

Ans: NEVER cross the road when the green man is flashing.

hey peeps....
juz wanna share my breakthrough i gotten last week
anyway, on thurs night when i was doing my qt, had started off by praying for half an hr...
from 11 to 1130
then decided on playing i could sing of ur love forever song and the holy spirit juz came and
i could feel him guiding me as i worship God
and thus i juz came out with the simple song tat has the basic progression chords in it..
it was so powerful tat 1 hr juz passed without knowing
and the nxt thing i noe is its 1230 le.... it was like the longest qt i hv ever had...
anyway heres the song...

we are a family, a spiritual family.
brothers and sisters.

we have a home.
but this home is not a physical place.
our home is wherever we are gathered together.

homes sometimes have guests.
and as hosts, we
smile,
shake hands,
exchange names,
try to strike up a conversation with our guests.

all in an attempt to make our guests feel welcome.
they are, guests afterall.
it's important to be good, welcoming hosts.

yes, we are sometimes shy,
but a smile,
and a handshake,
sometimes are enough to make all the difference.

and when everyone is friendly, welcoming and sincere, guests feel they belong and want to come back again and again.

you have a part to play. everyone matters and we are all in this together! =D

i went "wow!" three times during service yesterday.
illuminating thoughts from Ps Tan!

1. the addition & subtraction line he taught his son
wow! -indeed, God shows us things progressively.
i can't see into 2009 or how my life will be like in 5 years, 10 years.
but yeah, such a good Father He is,
i know He's always in the picture of my life.

2. circle & rectangle, 1D,2D,3D,4D
wow! - our vision is limited, but God's is not!
the more i wanna be close to God!
oh God, show me things of Your realm! (whatever You think is suitable la! =p)

3. we need to be holy-spirit-style friend to our friends
wow! - i never thought it like this before!
that yes, we have the holy spirit as our friend,
but there are those around us who don't.
and before they do, let's love them and be there for them holy-spirit-style!

wow! wow! wow! =D

hope Kelvin likes his birthday celebration. =D
and yeah, first time celebrating an ORD.
so it is like that.

Hello everyone! I am very very very excited this Christmas! For the Christmas Party, Christmas candlelight and also the Christmas Drama!

I am very inspired by what Pastor Tan shared during service today. That if we launch out our nets into the shallow waters we will get small fishes and small catch. But if we launch out our nets into the DEEP sea it will result in BIG FISHES and BIG CATCH!

Indeed, our effort will determine the result and impact. So if by inviting 5 friends we get 1 friend confirm. So if we invite 20 friends we will get 5, 10 even more confirmed!

And since NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE WITH GOD, ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE!

there is no limitation in God. There is only limitation in our mind!

lets contain all our friends in our spirit man and believe all of them will come!

so what are you waiting for. The fields are already white for HARVEST! AND THE HARVEST IS NOW!

so like NIKE, 'JUST DO IT' !

JIA YOU EVERYONE! we are all doing it together! :D it can happen if we BELIEVE!

YES! lets do our best in praying, fasting, believing, meeting their needs and opening our mouth to invite them, and God will surely handle the rest if we had put in our 101% effort :)

SENTOSA Outing 6.12.08!

Hooray!

Finally we went for our 1st ever W497 CG outing @ Sentosa yesterday! It was really fun even though we had it in the wet weather. Nevertheless, i am sure every one of us did enjoy ourselves correct?

And we all want to show our greatest appreciation to Jacob for planning the 3 games and true enough 'Jacob saves our day' by being sabo and thrown into the water by the brothers.

hahaha! tadaaaa.

yo w497~!
2008s asia conference is really an eyeopener for me :D
being able to see so many ppl frm different countries coming together just for 1 reason and that is to praise God! its definitely tiring but im sure all of us learnt something new right?
i think its the last session with Dr. ar bernard that i caught the most things...how God plants his children into the kosmos and make an impact just like how the farmer plants good seeds into the field...etc. lastly, thx God for the strength he gave us during this 5 days!

Anyway, let us all thank Estelle for this little booklet she made for us!
